#WeMakeCamden

Last night Camden Council hosted an event to showcase the diversity within the community. The young shoots were invited to perform some original pieces that they had written. The night was kicked off with a few words from significant figures of Camden including MP Keir Starmer.
The night included performances from people who all came from different backgrounds but shared one thing in common, they all lived in Camden. There was singing, international dancing and spoken word/poetry performed. All of which saw an amazing response from the audience.
Young Shoot Lauryn performed her piece about belonging and Isaiah performed his piece entitled ‘Where I Come From’ with Edgars playing the guitar to both of the pieces.
It was an amazing opportunity to be able to perform at the event, we’d like to say a huge thank you to Nicky and Camden Council for inviting us and letting the young shoots showcase their talent.
