Tom Grennan – Career so Far

Tom Grennan goes on tour this 2017 with his first appearance (6th Feb) in Manchester. Here is a little look back on his career.

Born in Bedford but based in London, singer-songwriter Tom Grennan first found fame as the guest vocalist on Chase & Status’s track When It All Goes Wrong however his first appearance came in the form of a music video called Home on Link up TV, which featured THE NEW BLXCK. The video demonstrated the hidden potential within Tom Grennan as a singer as well as a lyricist. The song tells the tail of how it is like to live in London and how it is his home.

He then released a live performance of his single, Something in the Water. This was a hit on YouTube, currently standing at 170, 000 views which is his 3rd highest viewed video. This song proved Tom’s talent and pulled his songwriting to the next level, ”there’s something about Tom Grennan’s voice that truly connects.”

Just before Tom released the music video that would see him hit the 1 million bench mark he surely deserved, he released a cover of Kanye West’s Fade on BBCRadio1. The twist that Tom put on the song worked well, with Chase & Status helping with the remixing. The current view count of this video stands at 231 000 views, his second highest video.

Then came his single that propelled him to stardom, All Goes Wrong (2.5 million views).

He has recently released two songs by the name of Where I’m From and Sweet Hallelujah. Both very unique sounds complementary to Tom’s unique style.

With his tour looming around the corner, we can not wait for what awaits Tom in the future. All we know is that the future looks very bright.
