The Lady By Kadija Kamara – Review

IMG_3365Moonwalking across the Finsbury stage in her stylish boots, Kadijah showcased her skills alongside her band with soul & energy. Whilst, her mustard beret constantly made a show of almost escaping her fro, but it didn’t stop her from rocking the stage and getting intimate with the crowd with her vocals. The band made us groove to every beat, reminding the crowd how nothing beats the feel of a live band.

Alongside Kamara was Joan Thiele an Italian based musician who has just moved to the UK. Her music was full of heart & soul inspired by her Colombian background and family.SigIMG_3364ned to Universal Music Argentina, Joan released her EP “Save┬áme” in 2016. A strong influence of Latin tropical and Electronic music, Italian singer Joan Thiele has performed across the globe at “SXSW” in Austin and “Eurosonic”, Holland with her band “Etna”. Her first album, set to be released this 2017.

Overall it was an exciting way to spend a Tuesday night in London. The show was FREE, celebrated women and she will be back with more.
