On Saturday night, the African ‘Giant’ Wizkid took over the O2 arena in London with some of his friends. The sold out show kicked off with performances from all the supporting acts which included – Afro B, Nafe Smallz and Ms Banks.

The anticipation and excitement rose as the time went on and Wizkid was due to appear. He came out in style, not to mention the outfit he was wearing which included a £6000 Louis Vuitton jacket. Entrance aside, Wizkid came to the stage with bundles of energy and it was reciprocated by the crowd. He performed some of his biggest and most popular songs including, Brown Skin Girl, Ojuelegba, Soco and Energy (Stay Far Away).

But that wasn’t all. The (adjective) artist brought out even more supporting acts that were surprise guests, teasing the audience with the question ‘Do you know how many friends I have?’, the answer to that being plenty as he brought out Naira Marley, Tiwa Savage and fellow African giant, Burna Boy.

Closing the show with green and white confetti falling from the sky as the artist paid homage to his home country, Nigeria.

Starboy Fest comes to an end in Paris this Saturday and if that show is anything like the London show, the concert-goers are in for a treat.

Until next time Wizkid, thanks for the show.
