Richard Antwi was a London born lawyer passionate about music, the arts and growing new talent which developed into him help launch the careers of artists such as Tinie Tempah, Lethal Bizzle and Wretch 32.
Antwi died of natural causes in March 2017 but his legacy will carry on through the University of Westministers’ ‘Richard Antwi Scholarship’ supporting black and minority ethnic students (BAME) on the MA in the Music Business Management to realise their full potential. Scholarship recipients are encouraged to continue this legacy and build a more vibrant and inclusive music industry as applications open in 2018.
If you or someone you know would like to apply, head to the University of Westminsters’ website for more info.
