Hi, I’m Jonathan Imiere and I am a Junior Content Producer Apprentice at Small Green Shoots. This has been my first week.
What have you liked about your first week at SGS?
During my first week at Small Green Shoots I have quickly been able to learn many new skills and greatly improve on skills that I have already. It didn’t take long for me to feel at home and relaxed as there is a welcoming and fun atmosphere in the office. The atmosphere is important as it makes work more enjoyable and you look forward to coming in. I am often working on new marketing plans and strategies as well as social media posts. I have had the opportunity to be a part of event planning and promotion which is something I have not done before and is a new challenge I have liked. These experiences and skills I have gained will stay with me and can be transferred throughout my career.
Why did you want to work at SGS?
What drew me to Small Green Shoots was the opportunities that they give to young people which are few and far between. As I have always had a keen interest in the creative industry, SGS encourage these interests and help me to grow through hard work and creativity.
What would you like to be doing when you leave SGS?
I would like to continue to develop my skills in content production and social media marketing, as well as boosting my graphic skills.
