JAMBOX Event Review

The beginning of September saw the launch of JAMBOX – a unique music jam featuring renowned musicians, emerging artists and writers coming together to play live beneath the red tinted lights of the BOXBAR in Boxpark Croydon.

In association with NOWHERENEAR music management, JupiterMGMT & Offshoots cultivated a diverse set of singers & rappers for a Jam session in the depths of London. In fact, it was the very first jam event at the Boxpark and what a history maker it was!

JAMBOX featured a wide diverse audience that were there to laugh and dance and have a good time as the host DJ Syler Jones played a mix of old school jams. Special highlights include artists Robb Peters, creating a freestyle flow for the audience to interact with as they shouted out various random items for him to freestyle about. From items such as beer, to a polaroid of fellow performers, a duo of singing sisters, to measuring tape.

The event held a comfortable, positive atmosphere and amazing music which holds a lot of due credit to those that made it happen.
