Last night the 2019 Brit Awards was held at The O2 Arena in London. It was the 39th edition of the British Phonographic Industry’s annual pop music awards. Hosted by Jack Whitehall and attended by the biggest stars in the industry, The Brits were celebrating a year of musical achievements.
Big up Jorja Smith for bagging a win for British Female Solo Artist, The 1975 won British Album of the Year and British Group. While Calvin Harris received British Producer of the Year, his collaboration with Dua Lipa gained them the British Single award.
Congratulations to all of the lucky winners this year, it’s wonderful to see how much the British music industry has developed in just a year and we’re anxious to see who will be up for nominations for next year’s award ceremony!
