Apple’s iconic marketplace for media has been around for almost 20 years. We’ve all heard speculations that Apple had decided to scrap the iTunes app from their line up. This speculation is in fact, correct.
At this year’s annual Apple Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC), Apple has finally confirmed that they are replacing iTunes with Three different apps: Apple Music, Apple Podcast and Apple TV.
This could be quite inconvenient for people as people now have to download three separate apps opposed to just one if they enjoy the Music, Podcasts and TV that Apple has to offer.
You’re probably wondering, where will all my years worth of downloading go? Will I have to start again and download all my favourites? The answer to that is easier than we thought, Apple will automatically migrate all downloads to the three new apps.
