Anne Marie “2002” Song Review

English singer songwriter Anne Marie, 27 year old Essex on her way to stardom. Already attaining several charting singles on the UK Singles Chart, including Clean Bandit’s “Rockabye”, featuring Sean Paul.

From the early ages of 6 and 12 years old she appeared in two West End productions — Les Misèrables and Whistle Down The Wind alongside a young Jessie J.

Releasing her first studio debut album “Speak Your Mind” this Friday 27th April, she’s definitely knocking on the doors of those in the industry.

Teasing her fans by releasing a few songs before her album like “Friends”, “Ciao Adios” and one that really grabs your attention “2002”.

Developing her own pop/country style drawing on influences from Taylor Swift and Ariana Grande.

“2002” is fuelled with passion, colour and love. She expresses her quest for love but at the same time nostalgia of her time being in love and is somewhat trying to search and re-light that fire. It’s a great milestone to show where Anne Marie has gone as an artist.
